_Field Tests Completed - 17.07.2009
12 month period for field test is completed with 100% success. During this period; 93 close lightning strikes have been observed 0-50 meters to the test sites and no direct strikes detected on two towers protected by EvoDis® Lightning Dissipation System. Test sites were selected among the ones which had taken a number of lightning hits earlier and after the EvoDis® application, none have hit by any direct lightning strike for the past 1 year period. Tests will be carried on for further R&D studies.

_Start for the Field Tests - 17.07.2008
MTO has started the field tests for EvoDis® Lightning Dissipation System with the samples that successfully passed the high voltage laboratory test process. Purpose of the field test is to observe EvoDis® samples' performances in nature with meteorological parameters like temperature, humidity, wind, etc. and see the reaction of the units to real lightning bolts at test points. EvoDis® samples are located on two AVEA (2nd GSM operator in Turkey) towers at the lightning areas of Turkey and are tracked by lightning detectors. Test points had been hit by lightning several times before EvoDis® application and the goal is to minimize the number of these strikes.

_TTGV Support Approval - 16.06.2008
MTO's appeal to Technology Development Foundation of Turkey (TTGV) for the support of the project “Lightning Dissipation System" is accepted. With TTGV's support, MTO follows the research and development process with more confident steps.

|
_High Voltage Laboratory Tests Start - 26.05.2008
MTO's first product group, EvoDis® Lightning Dissipation System, is subjected to high voltage tests as the final phase of the research and development process. The EvoDis® samples will be tested in three different aspects at Fuat Kulunk High Voltage Laboratory of Istanbul Technical University. Comparison will be made between EvoDis® units and Franklin Rod and at least a 95% success is expected from EvoDis® samples at the end of all three tests.
