.Founded in 2007 in Istanbul - Turkey, MTO is an engineering company grown up in lightning protection and grounding market with focusing on creating new technologies, combining the innovation with high quality engineering service and providing the best solution to the end user.

As a result of our research and development studies for 1.5 years, we developed our first product EvoDis® Lightning Dissipation System as the first and only technology in Turkey which mitigates the risk of being struck by lightning and hence providing the real protection for the site against direct lightning strikes.

Between the years 2007-2009, MTO took the support of various science and technology institutions, and in 2008, commenced its activities at Bursa Ulutek Technopark office.

 
 

While practicing R&D studies continuously, MTO also carries on working for enhancing the performance limits of the products. Our first product group EvoDis® Lightning Dissipation System, is also the first lightning protection system that has been tested in nature. Devices called “lightning detectors” have tracked the system installed on the towers at various regions in Turkey consistently and the obtained data are regularly reported.

_Services


We deliver turnkey services to our clients. With the very first contact, we ask for the details about the site to be protected, then we create an information board for that particular tower and finally when the pictures of the tower are received, the project starts for MTO.

Project Design

To be able to visualize the tower asked to be protected, we need the pictures of the site. We send our client a list of template for the pictures that we need and they send that list to their maintenance units.

Maintenance units of GSM operators take pictures of the sites from time to time during their maintenance periods and they choose the correct ones among them according to the list that we prepared and send them to us. We take those as reference and create a model of the tower on computer.

Our project design team does the calculations and decides which EvoDis® models to be used and how many to be applied on that site, so an individual design is developed for every single tower.

With the final check and approval, the design is used as the main reference during the installation operation.


Manufacturing

Design of our products lets us work with different outsource companies to create unique parts of the products individually. MTO has full control of the production of these parts via our company codes as well as ISO standards and we check the quality of production line of these companies and outcome in different occasions.

 
 
 

In order to have the final touch to the production line, we collect all parts together in one body and complete the manufacturing process by two levels of quality control, installation guide enclosure and final packaging.

  
 
 


Installation Supervision

We give supervision service to our clients during the installation. MTO's experienced field technicians arrive to the designated site and meet with the client's installation team. Since that EvoDis® Lightning Dissipation System is considerably easy to install, a brief demonstration is more than enough in order to complete the installation successfully.

       
       

MTO's technicians are at site only to be the guide to the operation, for the correct placement of the EvoDis® units and approval of the installation. Our technicians are fully trained and certificated for climbing techniques. They climb up the tower with the operator's installation team to ensure the accuracy of the operation.

       

With the approval of the installation, MTO supervisor signs up our warranty certificate and the tower is now protected against direct lightning strikes by EvoDis® Lightning Dissipation System.
